Self Improvement and Anxiety Panic Attacks

Self help can lead to personal growth which will make you happier. Self improvement is a great way to get to the excellent personal life you want.

Self help is something I’ve been doing since I was a child and I’ll bet you have too. Personal growth is inevitable in a child just because learning leads to personal growth and self improvement. It can’t be helped. However I doubt that’s quite what most people mean when they talk about self help.

If you have never had anxiety panic attacks, you can’t possibly know what it’s like. It stops you cold. It is the most gut wrenching, awful feeling ever. It is sort of like the feeling of awfulness distilled. An anxiety panic attack can make a normally rational person start to perspire, cause their heart to race, And send them running home in a panic. It can be so crippling, as a matter of fact, that it can be hard to get help.

When I first started suffering from anxiety attacks, I couldn’t even make it to my anxiety support group. I was becoming a shut it. Every time I would leave the house, something would trigger me. Sometimes, it would be a routine worry. I would think about whether I had left the stove on, for example. Soon, however, my idle worry would turn into panic. If I tried to goto anxiety support groups, I would worry about what people would think about me. I would get so nervous that I wouldn’t even be able to make it all the way there. Soon, I was only leaving the house when I absolutely had to.

Get Rid of those Horrible Panic Attacks

Panic Attacks made me lose my self confidence.

Have you ever sat straight up in bed with your heart beating out of your chest thinking you were having a heart attack and ran to the bathroom to splash water on your face? What were you experiencing if it wasn’t a heart attack? Most likely you were one of millions of people who suffer from haviving Panic Attacks or Anxiety attacks.

That’s the unfortunate news, the good news is that you can overcome them. I know, I suffered from them. The most sobering news I heard was that no one has ever died from having a panic attack. It’s a psychological disorder brought on by mental conditioning or “internal self talk” that causes your mind to be put into a state of panic. Panic attacks strike out of the blue, without any warning. Often, there is no clear reason for the attack. They may even occur when you’re relaxed or asleep.

It’s a horrible experience, but there is help. The Linden Method has brought good results and if you would like to watch a video review of the Linden method to treat Panic Attacks visit my video review blog at 4 Diamond Videos for more information!

Is your anxiety panic attacks better?

I was diagnosed with anxiety panic disorder by a doctor who initially prescribed sedatives for me.

Initially, these sedatives made my anxiety panic attacks better, but the effect only lasted for so long. Soon, I became completely dependent on them. When I was off them, I would begin to have attacks of anxiety again almost immediately.

Anxiety support groups have helped me somewhat, but only a little bit. It is nice to have an anxiety support group where you can vent your frustrations at being unable to control your social anxiety disorder, but just being able to vent doesn’t really help the problem go away.
