It seems like almost everybody these days is into natural health. They’re all talking about natural Health and natural foods. Everybody is looking for natural products and wants to live a natural life styles. But what is natural health? Does anybody really know? And if they do, do they know how to achieve natural health? Do they know how the maintain natural health if they haven’t? Get healthy heart advice.

I guess there’s no official definition of natural health, but I would define it as a state of well-being that is achieved and supported without the use of harmful chemicals and unnatural methods. But how we define harmful chemicals in our pursuit of natural health? And how we define unnatural methods in our pursuit of natural health? There are chemicals in everything and who is to say what method is unnatural? Well, we’ll just have to let our intuition and our common sense guide us in our pursuit of natural health.

People who are interested in natural health try to avoid products that contain harsh chemicals that can be hazardous to their health and the health of the environment. They also try to avoid products that are overly processed. This desire for natural Health and natural products creates a demand for fresh local products as most of the harmful chemicals that are added to products because they are mass produced and made to be shipped and sold all over the world. When industry gets involved and tries to turn feeding a hungry world into a big money making proposition, then the things that promote natural health go out the window. Dangerous herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers are used in the growing of food to increase yield and therefore maximize profits. No thought is given to natural health either the consumers or the environment. Factory farms are now churning out genetically modified plants to produce more food and lower costs to the producer. But what about the cost of people through the loss of natural health? And the assault on natural health is not just coming from the food we eat. It is also coming from the products we use.

So many of the products used in the modern world are produced in ways that are not environmentally sound and therefore damage natural health. Also the component materials in so many products are harmful to natural health. Then there is the fact that so many products are made to be disposable. There’s a massive problem with waste that is created which is also threatening natural health. To promote natural health, products need to be produced in a green matter near to the end consumer and their disposal needs to be factored into their cost and should remain the responsibility often times of the manufacturer of the product. Natural health will only be protected and enhanced when people stopped looking for cheap and easy ways to fulfill their greedy instincts and start doing the right things although they may be more expensive and difficult.
