Lose Weight By The Way You Cook

Have you thought about how you are preparing your food? Everyone talks about the kind of food to eat, but they never tell you another way to lose weight is by the way you are cooking the food you eat.

Now if you buy into these diets where they send you freeze dried food in a box, then just skip this post and move on. But if you are like most of us just watching what we eat, then read on…

Stop using oil. Just ditch it for a oil-free, butter-free method of cooking. Forget the frying pan. Get rid of your skillet. Now, don’t even use your oven. By now, you have lost a pound just thinking about how you will starve. But relax. What I’m about to tell you is a fact.

Commit to your charcoal grill. That’s right. Not a gas grill, just a good ole charcoal grill. Now here’s why. Almost everything can be prepared on an outdoor bbq charcoal grill. Here is why you will lose weight. Do not use butter or oils. Wrap food in reusable foil to seal in the food’s natural juices, vitamins, and flavor. For example, take a fish filet….sprinkle with a little lemon pepper, squeeze a little lemon juice, or even spread a teaspoon of bbq sauce. That’s it! Fish will come off the charcoal grill in it’s foil tent steaming with flavor! Zero added calories!

Now, consider all the foods you can cook on a charcoal grill in that same way! Roast beef, chicken, tuna steaks, and shrimp. Try a briskett in the foil tent smothered with a low-cal bbq sauce. And vegetables are absolutely amazing cooked on a charcoal grill! Take onion wedges, tomatoe, bell peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini. Place on a steel skewer and dous with some light beer. Wow, what flavor!

Now, if you don’t want all the extra juice soaking up your food, just use a stainless cookie sheet or the rack on the charcoal grill. Open flames are great from a charcoal grill and help food hold in their natural vitamins and flavor.

If you cook solely from a charcoal grill for 3 months…any 3 months of the year, you will lose weight! Get some fizzy water to drink and make a fresh salad to go along with the entree. There will be no mess in the kitchen, no grease to clean off the stove, and no odor from cooking fish indoors. Cooking on a charcoal grill does not mean it has to be warm outdoors and it does not mean that you have to use bbq sauce, even though that will add a nice touch. Preparing food on a charcoal grill is simply a healthy choice. A charcoal grill is all you need to lose weight!
