FDA Approved Home Hair Removal With Laser
At present, shaving, waxing and laser treatments make up a multi-million niche. And over a million underwent laser treatment last year in the US alone. But now, FDA has authorized hair removal at home laser treatments for prolonged removal of hair. And many who tried it said it really worked very well and showed good results. Laser treatment works by delivering an intense beam of light. Skin is essentially transparent to light in the wave length while melanin containing structures will soak up laser energy of this wavelength. It’s then possible to aim the hair follicle which has a concentration of melanin without affecting the encompassing area. The thought of utilizing laser hair removal in your own home maybe a bit scary but the ease and cost are what compels people to try. Although FDA approved it safe, yet still it needs to be done with medical support. Hazards, if not executed properly, would include redness, burning and skin damage.
