<p>Shortly after I got out of college, I took a job at a local grocery store to help defray the cost of college, and it was during this time that I developed severe abdominal pain. I could not figure out the cause of it, and nothing that I did seemed to help.</p>
<p>I thought that maybe I just had a <a title="Stomach Bug" href="http://www.stomachbug.org" target="_blank">stomach bug</a> and I could just eat lightly for a few days and it would go away. That never happened, however, and within a week, my abdominal pain was so severe I could hardly stand it and actually had to call in sick to work on a couple of occasions.</p>
<p>I finally broke down and went to the doctor, and within about 10 minutes of diagnosing me, he discovered the problem. I was allergic to the medicine that I was taking for my headaches, which I just started taking when I started working at the grocery store, and it was making me sick to my stomach.</p>
