<h2>Do You Feel as If the World Is Against You?</h2>
<p>A few months ago I had one of the worst weeks ever, nothing<br />seemed to want to go right. I felt really ill and I still needed to keep my<br />busy family going.</p>
<p>I have suffered with <strong>Lupus</strong> for many years, but this time it<br />felt worse than usual and I began to wonder if I was going to get through this<br />Lupus Flare in one piece.</p>
<p>I decided that I needed help in organising myself and to<br />keep a record of the symptoms I was actually dealing with. So I searched the<br />Internet for a <strong>medical diary</strong> as I felt this would be more appropriate than just<br />a bulk standard diary. I wanted to put it on my computer as I used my computer<br />an awful lot and I felt it was most practable.</p>
<p>That week was terrible, I missed a friends coffee afternoon<br />to help raise funds for cancer research; partly because I forgot about it and<br />also because I fell asleep when I had sat down for a break earlier in the day.</p>
<p>One day I missed a painkiller that then sent the rest of my<br />painkillers adrift so I spent the night in pain. This proceeded to make me feel<br />very unwell and depressed.</p>
<p>The following day I found that I had forgotten to send my<br />repeat prescription to the doctors and it didn&rsquo;t help matters that I was almost<br />out of a couple of my tablets. I then spent a fretful morning on the phone to<br />the doctors trying to get a prescription quickly.</p>
<p>My appointment with my Rheumatologist at the end of the week<br />didn&rsquo;t go very well at all. I had forgotten to write down the symptoms that I<br />was struggling with most of all and as I got back into the car the things I had<br />wanted to discuss all came rushing back.</p>
<p>Collecting my children from various activities became a<br />nightmare on a couple of occasions I forgot where I was going and I ended up at<br />a place I needed to be later on. I was beginning to find life was really<br />overwhelming me.</p>
<p>I needed a medical diary that could help me with reminding<br />me to take my medication correctly, one that would remind me when to collect my<br />repeat prescription, be able to make a note of all my symptoms as and when they<br />had happened and to be also able to note how<em> </em>I felt and what I had eaten<br />that day.</p>
<p>Then I also needed to be able to set reminders for family<br />occasions such as birthdays and activities.</p>

I also<br />found that the information I put into the medical diary would then be plotted<br />onto graphs so that I could compare my symptoms with my food intake and<br />activities.</p>
<p>Life began to improve, my <a title="Lupus " href="http://lupussymptoms.symptomoflupus.com" target="_self">lupus</a> improved and I didn&rsquo;t feel so stressed about life<br />and as my medical diary was alerting me to take medications etc. I began to<br />feel much more relaxed, I was less forgetful in general and I didn&rsquo;t end up in<br />the wrong place.</p>
<p>My next Doctors appointment went very well as I had printed<br />off all the things I wanted to tell him from my Smart Medical Diary.</p></p>
