Burn Excess Fat with Green Tea
One of the most popular products of the Herbal products boom, of the last decade or so, has been Green Tea. There’s been a lot of talk about reasons to use green tea to help improve your health, but did you know you could use green tea for weight loss? ,
Green tea is a weight loss aid, yes, but it’s merely meant to help you shed pounds not going to do all the work for you. So how can green tea help you lose weight? It’s pretty simple, really: green tea, among other things, contains caffeine. As a stimulant, caffeine naturally helps you burn extra calories.
You will never lose wight with all the fat and sugar in those energy drinks, fancy coffees, and so on, despite the caffeine content. It’s key to remember that green tea is just a little boost, in the neighborhood of an extra 70 to 80 calories burned per day . That number much is less than the amount of calories in a single serving of soda or fancy coffee or most energy drinks. Skip the high calorie drinks, combine the tea with some of the foods that burn fat, and the weight loss will become more noticable.
One thing that gives green tea its weight loss an advantage is the compound called epigallocatechin gallate, commonly known as ECCG. The ECCG increases the effectiveness of the caffeine leading to a greater amount of calories burned. Green tea’s caffeine is allowed to help you lose weight since the extra calories, found in all those other beverages, just aren’t there.
In the war against fat the green tea is just a small ally. If you were to lose 80 extra calories per day, that only adds up to a few pounds lost in a year, assuming you made no other dietary or exercise changes. If you want to lose weight quickly, green tea can help, but it’s not the answer.
Green tea isn’t only for losing weight, and this adds to its appeal. Green tea contains antioxidants, which provide a number of benefits to your cardiovascular health – this means green tea can help reduce the risk of heart problems. Green tea can also help improve your metabolism and control your cholesterol level. Some claim that it can help your mental focus, as well.
Green tea can be an excellent replacement for your daily coffee by helping you to lose weight and improve your health. You’re replacing all the calories and chemicals found in that latte with pure herbal tea. Changing to green tea can not only help you to lose weight but can eventually make you feel healthier. What’s not to like?
