Nothing is more heartbreaking than seeing a parent or a loved one slowly disappear in front of our eyes. Suddenly, the smile and the laughter from their faces is gone. Then there is the gradual pulling away from day-to-day living, and with withdrawal comes depression and anger.

The majority of the 4.5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s disease live at home, where family and friends provide most of their care. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, a progressive brain disorder that not only affects memory, but gradually destroys a person’s ability to learn and carry out daily activities, can be emotionally and physically challenging.

One of the Projects implemented by the Alzheimer’s Association is their Dementia Care Practice Recommendations. Here they touch on topics like Dementia Care Fundamentals, Food and Fluid Consumption, Pain Management and Social Engagement.

I am proud to report that after 10 years,
-much trial and error,
-much research and bad nights of sleep,
-and doctors both competent–and incompetent

I have conquered my sleep apnea!

I sleep. SLEEEEEEP!
I’m putting up this site to give you the short cut to my results.
I don’t want you to suffer like I did. It can be helped.

I feel the need to share my story to help all of the sufferers of sleep apnea.

There is a lot of bad information out there proffered by well meaning people who are sleeping soundly at night while those of us who suffer get no sleep, wake up tired, and drag through the day wondering if we will ever know restful sleep again.

I’m treating this as a personal Mission. Why?

Because I have been through so much garbage and bad diagnosis from arguably good doctors, and I want to share it. if even 1 person can heal and remember what it is like to sleep through the night and wake rested I will count myself successful.

…Keeping in mind that everyone is different, and Apnea will be different in each of us…

When you have apnea, it becomes the norm for you, and you wake with an awful body sensation, not the revitalization that nature intended.

Find out more about the symptoms of sleep apnea

The most important aspect in your journey to recovery is finding a good treatment facility.

Finding the right alcohol treatment center is not an easy task. When seeking help there are an overwhelming amount of options. There are tens of thousand of places to help you change your life and become the person you were meant to be.

The first step is to call your insurance company and find out what your treatment options are and what coverage is available. Also, research for government grants for treatment that you may be eligible for.

Public alcohol treatment centers are funded by the state and are seen as a service while private centers are businesses which are privately owned and generate their income from rehabilitation fees and exist to make a profit.

Advantages to Private Alcohol Treatment

Accommodations and facilities are more luxurious and comfortable.

Qualifications and experience of staff.

More intensive and longer therapies.

More comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

Private alcohol treatment centers are highly confidential. A private center’s reputation depends on their ability to maintain the client’s anonymity.

No long process to enrolling or delays to entry.

Locations of private centers are usually in very beautiful places such Los Angeles, Palm Springs and Malibu.
